I'm in!!! I was in the last one, but my build got interrupted by my deployment to Afghanistan!!! I want another try. I'd like to build one of the Tasca kits, maybe a Sherman III.
Chris
You my friend should get INSTANT CREDIT for your service and if it happens again and on my Campaign I'll see to it, Sir!
I do want to thank you for your commitment and for your service as well. I do appreciate it so much.
Oh, and welcome aboard!
I've heard that the Tasca Shermans are it!

Thanks for the kind words Jeff...Let it be known that Paul helped me out; he's a great guy. He ran a great campaign and it was a lot of fun. Once I deployed, I had a kit shipped to me. I built it, but painting was too impractical. He was good enough to give me credit. For my part, I have to paint the kit I finished over there, which of course got damaged pretty bad when I mailed it home. So now it's in the queue waiting for repairs and paint.
Here's a picture of it in all it's glory, last summer, before the ill-fated shipping. Posed with grenades for humorous purposes:

Oh yes, that was a good one with something like 150 enlisted. I like your SHERMAN with the early style M34 mantlet. Looks like a DML/DRAGON kit with those tracks being a dead giveaway.
The grenades are a nice touch!

I'm in with Uni Model's Sherman w/M17 Rocket Launcher in 1/72. I will be putting this on Academy's Dragon Wagon also in 1/72.

Very nice work on the Firefly Jose! I especially like the effect on the clothing and the oil can on the back deck.
I admire you guys who work in this scale ... very convincing!
I do hope we get this Campaign approved so I can set aside
MY build.
I think it'll be the build of the year.

It´s more easy to me work in 1/72 than 1/35.
I just order two Shermans in the big scale (1/35) and I make my first model in this GB

Good deal Mike!
This will be
my Sherman build, and no it's not for the Large Scale Campaign as well.
It is a Profiline Conversion Kit for the R/C 1/16 MATO M4A1 (76) Sherman Tank. But I am not stopping there as I plan to replace the stock running gear with metal updates, backdate the return wheels to the first version that debuted on the M3 Lee and remove the rubber cleats to just represent the pads only.
Ambitious enough?

LOL Jose! I've had the kit for a few months now and the donor tank w/o electronics just became available so I thought I'd better jump on it, and then build it.
One of my favorite Shermans, this will give me an Early A1 with VVSS and then I have the Late A1 I built a few years back with HVSS.
I do hope it's a memorable one like this one was.

Hi Jeff,
I don´t suppose this is allowed is it?
If not I´ll stick to the early M50.
Paul.

Hi Paul!
Well lets see now, how did I word that in the rules ...
... oh, yeah! Here it is:
"Must not be any concept tank unless it was a prototype (with photo documentation)" To quote myself.
So then yes! It was a prototype that was actually built. So using the VVSS, welded hull with radial engine and your good to go!
There were a ton of prototypes built and tested, they just didn't go into production.
Good choice!

Yes, technically its a T26 turret on the M4A3 chassis. Another attempt to up-gun the already proven M4 chassis to provide a quick solution to the battlefield.
The T23 turret worked so they figured this could too. Of course, it was cancelled because they figured it would interfere with the Pershing production.
