Euan,
an excellent BRDM. My favorite parts are the camouflage (I've never seen that one before), the weathering on the tire treads, and the chipping.
Thanks for posting!
-Sean H.
By the way, my kids are finishing up some earlier builds to clear the benches for this one. With time running out, we should probably start soon!

Thank you,
I normally stick to modern US/UK, the IT 1 was a Xmas gift and after doing it, I was really interested in how the Russians do it, will be doing more Russian beasts for such now! Lol

Sounds excellent. I can strongly recommend any of the other new, modern Russian kits from Trumpeter.
Thanks

I'm making progress on the Grizzly, despite very brittle plastic and the fact that I've begun to dread painting the same way I dread the dentist.

Painting is the best part for me, it's the building that can sometimes be slightly laborious. Just my opinion. What colours do you intend on painting your Grizzly?
Thanks.

Hey guys sorry I havent been very active lately, wrestling season is finally finished up and I will have more bench time. Everyone's builds are looking really good, I think I want to attempt sculpting a figure. Ive tried it before and it came out decent, but I want to legitimately try this time! Im looking for a picture to model after, I got some new ideas from Finescale (is that word allowed here?) that I think im going to try

There's a lot of progress and some very fine work being done. Since I'd hate to see anything get rushed to meet a "deadline" would it be agreeable to add an extension on the time-frame? This is your group build so let me know

I don't mind an extension. In my experience, my kids don't overly detail their builds, and when I was a kid, I certainly didn't take time to paint every part, but just like us, they have to work in model-building time against school, homework, chores, etc., so it can take a while!
Anyway, here's my son's start. He has chosen an HO scale diorama kit from Woodland Scenics called D's Diner.
Of course more pics as they become available.

If there is going to be a time extension, could I do another build, just for fun?
Thanks

I just gave Andrew a Tamiya F4F. He wants to get started right away, so hopefully it will be done in time.

Hi guys,
The build has finally started!
And a picture of my distraction. Our new 4 legged terror
Should i post most of my progress in my Thread in the AFV section or in this thread. Or just post the same post in each one?
Thanks,
Luca

Well done Sven...both the build and the video I've just started to try out the Vallejo washes myself and they seem to work very well.
