Great... the details are amazing. I love the Hardox stenciling; is that Echelon decal?

Some very nice details so far. Are the details bought or scratched. The little electric welder looks very cool. Love the markings on the rusty steel table top!

Hi guys, thanks for the positive comments. Yes the decals are from Echelon and they work really well. Most of the parts are scratch built with just a few of the smaller tools from Tamiya and Italerie.
Here are some photos of the pallets of stores and armoured plate that will be placed around the diorama.

Thanks Frenchy, yes those are the pictures I'm basing the dio on. It will be a mash up of the most interesting parts of those pics.

You have true skill. I can't even imagine how many hours I would have spent on the tool box, alone.

Now to the armoured panels that were added in Iraq around 2004. I traced the side of the Tamiya kit and made the panels from thin evergreen to suit. I added latches and hinges and painted it in various rust tones as well as adding the burnt weld marks.

I'm loving this build! It's a real pleasure to watch you work! Do I understand correctly that you scratch-built the steel plates using Echelon decals? And, what are the actual plates made of?

Hi all, the smaller tools are from Tamiya and Italerie, the welder is scratch built as is most of the oxy set. Oxy bottles started off as Italerie but were much modified. Ill put together a step by step how to soon.

Im actually looking to make both the Oxy kit and Plasma welder into kits, if anyones interested let me know. Does anyone know a good photo etcher?

I've also completed the weapons mount for the armoured box, in the end there will be 4 of these.
