The interior was masked up and the exterior san colour painted, ive modulated the colours slightly, this will tone down with washes to come.
The tread area of each tire is dry brushed.
Each wheel / tire was masked and the sand coloured wheels sprayed.

Wheels have ben given an oil wash and the sidewals a light dusting with pigments.
The Humvee was given a yellow oil wash and the armored steel panels fitted.

This Humvee looks real good, the rust effects on the add on armor plates are very realistic.

The roof of the Humvee is sculpted from Milliput rolled out into a very fine sheet and draped over a frame made from fine wire. I did this in 2 parts, the first the layer over the cab and once this had hardened i did the crumpled up form over the top.

It hard to imagine that the steel plating is plastic, that's how convincing your painting and weathering is. As Matt already said, your canvas top looks more like the real thing then the real thing.

excellent work from the start .plates look very real and the decals really top it off .tools are fantastic and i love the addition of the shades on the rear of the humvee .
i do like to see personal items in dios but these are hard things to obtain if your not a master scratch builder , id like to see more personal bits made by the big boys for all of us not so big boys . real models , accurate armour, voyager and eduard to mension a few .mess kits , bath kits , cleaning kits and more to add the personal touch .
