Here are the actual parts of the star of the diorama, the Humvee, some of these parts have since been painted. I've added a small amount of detail, pedals, some extra brackets and a better detailed radio tray. At this point all the hard to reach points have been painted matt black. The folded back hood has a frame made from wire with thinly rolled milliput stretched over. Resin wheels are by Voyager.

The diorama will include a portion of a shipping container. It has been scratch built and received the fist layers of colour, but yet to be weathered.

Matthew,

Wow Wow Wow is all I can say this will look amazing when all done!! As someone who does freight for a living loving all the little details like the "cut" steel strapping & ratchet & strop.
Is the ratchet scratch built? Or a off the shelf item, the little 10m x 10m container is just perfect will subscribe for sure!!

Matthew,

Please excuse my fat fingers I should have typed 10ft x 10ft container, I am not sure if you have any other details to add to the container, it should also have a unit number on it. If you wish when I am back at work I can go thru some con notes & get you one.

Thanks for sharing!!

I second Seb's request. I would love to know more about how you did the container. The whole idea and execution is fantastic.

Thanks guys, its comming along slowly, flat out with work. The container is a prototype of one to be made from resin so if anyone is interested, watch this space.
Here are some Drums for another corner of the dio.

OMGoodness this is amazing work you are doing. I can see your skills in painting and weathering are way off the chart. I'm blown away by how realistic these shop tools and items look. A must follow build...

Progress has been slow on this one lately between work and other projects. Here is the base, just needs some heavy weathering.

Can't think of anything positive to say... all my mind is saying is "He MUST be taking photos of 1:1 objects". Subscribed for sure.
