Chrisopher,
Yes that is fine, I have been considering building this for some time.
Boris,
Once we have enough participants I will submit the proposal if approved then you enlist on the campaign page.
WOW!
When I was considering this proposal I was worried about getting enough participants, these being large and somewhat expensive builds but here we are a little over one day in and I believe we have enough.
Cheers Rob.

Rob: Can't confirm I'm 100% in yet, don't want to take on too much. I also don't have the Trumpeter kit in my stash but I do have something to put behind it though,
I was mainly inquiring about what older equipment would be allowed.
If the campaign is approved I may or may not jump on board until near the end of the year.
cheers.

Jeff, I don't know if you could find a large enough trailer or big enough pickup.
Cheers Rob.
There is one out there... I'll search for it and be back with it.

Rob what about aircraft tugs? I have the trumpeter KZKT-537L in my stash of kits, it doesn’t tow a trailer, but designed to tow heavy aircrafts instead. Main problem for me is space limitations, anything with a large trailer will not fit in my work area, plus I already this kit on hand.
Or my other option is the SA-2 transpoter. not to big for my work area.

Hi Rob,
Would a dragon wagon or famo towing a wrecked/ aboned tank / Spg minus trailer be allowed?
Cheers Mike

Could you give a description of the tractor and the trailer? It looks like a civilian Canadian Rig and Leo 2 set up...
I was able to do up as a test to see how it would look a Snap-Tite Kentworth T600A (I've got another that I am going to eventually get around to super detailing..) In my mind it seems like the test worked out. I am still hoping that Trumpeter comes out with a Canadian Tank transporter ((Actros).

I would love to join in the build as I have a few transporters sitting on the shelf (5 of them...) but do to scheduling I don't think I'll be able to join up... Can't wait to see the pics though

Canadian Leos have slat armor on the rear of the lower hull. Though it does appear to be a Canadian transport.

The Slat Armour is a mission fit for Afghanistan, and if memory serves, those are the mounting points for the slat.
Oh, and you can also see the "T" antenna mounts.

Christopher,
either one of those is fine.
Mike,
Yes that is fine as well.
Jeff,
I will be happy to see you build that!
Robert,Matt,
It is civilian and it is a Canadian Leopard.
http://www.dfi.ca/leopard-tank-transport/
from what I have got so far it looks to be a version of this:
Model WS40EXT
I was thinking I could combine a 1/32 kit with the M1070 and make it but that's as far as I got.
Cheers Rob.

October works for me, as I said I'll do 1/72 scale unless somebody does a 1/48 M26 transporter/trailer, which I have yet to find. I did end up picking up the 1/35 M26 this weekend though... but how about this:
.
Build that puppy in 1/35!

Matt if you haven't looked at the directions or kit parts yet or know about this site http://www.model-making.eu/products/DF-21-BALLISTIC-MISSILE-LAUNCHER.html its a great place to preview most kit before buying them.
Thanks Rob, I'll build the KZKT-537 for this campaign. I'm also looking at my hind kit and thinking about a disassembled bird being towed behind it.
BigSmitty - holly crap, talk about over working the engine in the dragon wagon. Pictures don't do any justice, I live about an hour away from space center houston and even a 1/2 mile away those rockets are huge. The would be pretty sweet if you could pull that one off scratch building.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Where's my name at? Or am I not allowed to play?
I think that Trumpeter BALLISTIC MISSILE LAUNCHER is an awesome kit all by itself and may have to look into getting one.

Hi Rob,
Would the Famo without the trailer be a valid entrance for the campaign? If it is so count me in.
Best regards,
Angel

Jeff: we collecting photos of the Dong Feng, here -
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/196818&page=1
There is some debate over the interior. I say it is basically the same as the Russian made MAZ 547 and is being argued that it is based off of a Chinese, civilian tractor. I'm going to snail mail a museum in China and will hopefully be rewarded with a thorough walk-around. They do so enjoy showing off their military.

AND, that used to be a truck. Nice photo, but you knew I was only kidding about the idea... right?
Or line up, bumper-to-bumper a couple of pick up trucks in order to haul one real tank? That might be funny.
