Alright! I've decided to go for the T26E4 "Super Pershing", with kit #82426 and a 90mm L/71 after market barrel.
Looking forward to this, as this would be my first non-German tank I've built.

Did a little looking around for my UE 57, the only company to make a British 6prd gun like the upgraded UE has, is Tamiya (and that's not even the same Mk. gun). That kit is ancient unfortunately. Maybe I'll get myself a Tasca Luch or the Hobbyboss Leopard. Been wanting to build those anyways.

Lets get this show on the road
Heres my two to kit bash into a Matilda Black Prince
I'll have to open the turret ring on the Matilda and scratch a box on the rear of the turret of the Cromwell and then a special WOT paint job!.

Here's my entry, KV-2 with 152mm gun. Since I didn't like any of the camo options available I made a skin signifying it's best battle. 8 kills in one battle, all one shot (my platoon mate got another 2 for a total of 10 of the team's 15 kills going to one platoon). If Google Translate is right, the phrase on the barrel says Can Opener, a fitting name for the tank I think.

I've made significant progress over the past couple of days. I only have a couple of in progress pics so far and will take more when I get home. Thus far I'm not impressed with the Trumpeter KV-2 kit, there are gaps between the upper glacis and side armor and the gun leaves a lot to be desired. There's also a large sink mark on the upper glacis. I've added the missing texture to the edges of the armor plates by gently working my way around with the edge of a half round double cut file. It's not that noticeable in the photo but my iPhone camera is kinda finicky. The upper plate has it added, the lower one hasn't been textured yet.
More photos to come this afternoon.

Well with 8.4 going live today, I’ve finally decided on my build. I’m going to build the Valentine AT using AFV Club Valentine MK.II and Resicast 6lbs. Anti-tank gun.

I've got an idea of which one of my vehicles I want to build, anyone know if someone makes a Covenanter kit?

Snowowl - Inside the Armour makes a full resin kit of the Covenanter if your willing to pay the price. The only other option is try to scratch build one. I have a link somewhere I will find for you that someone actually scratch build one at the moment.

Thanks for the replies, my skills are nowhere near the level required for a complete scratch build, think I'll just wait until I unlock the Cromwell or try kit bashing a 2Pdr and Universal carrier into the new tier II tank destroyer.

They're a few days late but here is the next set of in progress pics for my KV-2. I've filled the gaps on the front glacis and built up most of the chassis. I've also built up the turret excepting the hand rails that can easily be broken. I've added a slight cast texture to the gun mount and dome shaped pieces on the turret (I'm assuming rangefinders). I've also added a piece of styrene under the gun mount to fix the gap Trumpeter created in the design. In the next couple of days the gun should be ready for installation then the vehicle ready for priming.
EDIT: I have no idea why it's rotating the last 2. They're oriented correctly in Photobucket.

Gentlemen,
I have changed my mind (I hope for the last time). The tank I build for this campaign will be the american tier II tank destroyer T18.
Jens,
How did you generate that screen shot with your info? Is there a website that lets you do that?
Well I got confirmation that my Cromwell 1/72 T29E3 and T30 should be shipping from Tracks and Troops, I need to find out if they have a tracking # so I can see where they are at.
I'm doing them OOB, since I believe in-game they are armed etc the same way as the prototypes when fully upgraded.
Should be an easy build and I've been itching to do a small scale build after seeing Alex Clark's excellent work over the past couple months.

Scott,
I took two screenshots. One in-game shot with the tank and one screenshot with the stats. The software I use for tracking my stats is /WOT Statistics

Another progress update on my Super Pershing:
I've also ordered a set of Friuls for this build. I despise fiddling with one-piece rubber tracks.

Current status on my build:
Added some more to the suspension and almost done with the engine assembly. It's full of injection marks and lines, but I won't spend too much time on since it won't be visible when completed. I'll probably not paint the interior either.

I'd like to join in on this. I built a T-26 (Russian Light tank) for the WoT Contest. I just bought a T26E4 Super Pershing, and am considering a Chinese Type 59

Very nice SP... does it come with an interior (other than the engine bay)?

Yes, though I cancelled the order to buy from a forum member for $10 less.
Needless to say, I'm very excited.
I'm also considering buying an enemy for my tier 2, a PZ 2

@Andras: It's a very special tank, that's for sure. There are no other interiors besides the engine bay. Kinda glad, since it would take me ages to finish this build if it did.
@Kurt: I've been looking for a WoT-model of the Type 59 myself, but I can only find the 105mm version and not the longer 100mm that's in the game.

I've seen the same models you speak of, and those older Trumpeter model Type 59s get terrible reviews.

Where did you get these from? I've been interested lately in 1/72 scale
