Hi Dave,
I just got this Dragon Panzer IV Ausf. H
http://www.scalehobbyist.com/images/products/DML/DML00006300/DML00006300_0_l.jpg
If I dress it up as a 12th SS or 21st Panzer Division would that be acceptable

Hi,
I just enlisted, I couldn't finish the last one due to health problems interrupting my modelling. I will definitely finish this one as it is the 70th anniversary. Not sure what I will be doing this time around, but it will be Axis not Allied. Also I presume you mean 20mm - 1/6 and not 200mm - 1/6 as in the campaign description.
All the best,
Paul

Hello Paul,
You can read that as all scales. just like the previous campaign.
Hope that helps.

This time I'm gonna make an early start.
AFV Club's Churchill Mk IV AVRE:
Untitled by ddepickere, on Flickr
I started tonight, no better time then on the evening of D-Day.
I never build one of these Churchills, so this was the best opportunity to do so.
I just noticed that I still have to make a badge for this campaign. Any ideas?
Good luck to all!
Dave

Here is my kit for this campaign. It comes with marking schemes for several units involved in Normandy, but I'm kind of partial to the one on the box art.

I've started work on my Panzer IV today. Here is my progress so far.
I'm sorry for a bad quality pictures, but I don't have my camera till 19th of this month and had to use my phone to take pictures.

Hi. I had a blast with part one of the D-Day campaign and was wondering if this would be ok?
I'm planning on building as a 21st panzer division vehicle which was in Normandy on the 6th. Where I need clarification is the rules state it needs to be armoured. It's only armoured around the gun . Does it mean fully or partially armoured? I hope it's fine because after all the green I've been painting lately some tri-tonal camo would be a nice change of pace.
Cheers
Jeff

Hi Dave,
you can't do this without a StuG
I'm in, either with a III or IV, I haven't decided yet.
Paul
Paul, I did the Tamyia years ago ! It's a very nice kit, I think you'll have the option of going either with a 7,5 or 10,5 cm gun.
I might go with a half-track w/flak gun or a Tamyia Marder.
Have to clear my bench a bit first.

Hey guys,
How is everyone doing in use campaign? It's been awfully quiet here.
Life unfortunately interfered with modelling, but I'm ready to get back in the game.
Not sure if I'll immediately return to the AVRE, or if I'll first start with something easy to see if my skills aren't to rusty.
Good luck everyone, and I'm looking forward to see some pictures here!

Hey John,
Unfortunately I'm no expert in German flak...
What do the decals say?
Anyone here can help John?
Happy holidays to everyone!

Had to do a lot of travel for work in the last month or so. What you see here was done either in the hotel or on the train!

Thanks Dave, I have been traveling by AMTRAK quite a bit, and have a 3 hour ride each way. I've become quite a fan. I sit at one of the tables, pull out the kit and my traveling tool set, and get to work. I get some strange looks, but usually get a lot of questions, and a generally positive reaction from fellow passengers.
