Alrighty then! Thanks John for the quick approval and all you guys for supporting this Campaign.
My main concern in building is treads N tracks & Sci-Fi projects but have a tiny affection for big wheels!
Looks like Pete beat us ALL on signing up first! I like that kind of enthusiasm!

Hi Jeff,
if this counts as an extreme truck, and if I can find one in kit form, i would like to take part in this.
The BARC:-
Paul
"Lord Raglan wishes the cavalry to advance rapidly to the front, follow the enemy & try to prevent the enemy carrying away the guns. Troop horse artillery may accompany. French cavalry is on your left. Immediate. R Airey."

So...
Are gun-trucks - Opel Blitz with a 2cm goose-gun in back - good for this? What about things like Maultiers (half-track trucks specifically created as cargo-carriers, as versus combat vehicles) with or without a gun?
If a Blitz with a gun on back is a go, I think I could be (in this campaign), too!

Alright guys i am in as well!
Most probably will be building a 1/72 Opel Blitz from my stash... but seeing there is still half a year to go before starting, i might shop around for something bigger or more "extreme" lol
Cheers

No half-tracks or treaded vehicles. I would even accept the M3 Scout Car but no armored cars and NO tracks.

I know what you mean but everytime I start shopping and searching I still end up looking back at my Maz 543 Scud Launcher in the stash!
Hey it's paid for and it's new to me.

So we shall see. Good luck on the hunt!

OK - fine enough on those Maultiers. What about the Blitz-with-gun sort of thing (I'm just hung up on putting a gun on just about anything! Even a Vespa! (oops! Italy already did that one

))?

The Opel Blitz, right? The last time I saw one they were classified as a truck so it doesn't matter what's in the back.
Build it!

I know what you mean John...
... there are plenty of good looking truck kits out there to settle for what's sitting here at home.

I've been shopping around and found a few of these Tatra kits. They are an all resin kit and very pricey too.
Has anyone heard of them or built any?

Thanks guys (and Chris for their website) for all the info on them, maybe it's not such a great kit for a Campaign AND especially for me.
I'll get one just to take my time to build.

Okay, okay... I know it's very early and I have been known to change my mind but I have found my kit for this Campaign build:
The
Einheitsdiesel with Bilstein recovery crane by IBG.
