I'm not sure if Meng will send me a replacement part. Meanwhile, the slat armor arrived, but I was advised to go with the ET set. I'm really wanting to get this one off my bench.

For the same reasons as in "What the flak" a link to an album rather than single pictures. Took my sweet time uploading the pictures so one bunch from "box" to "half way": Kit is AFV Clubs M88A1 "German version". The final result, likely not finished until campaign end, will be the M88 working to righten a Wolf that dropped on it's side

Hi friends,
@MBR: very good job with your german M88 and nice idea to post an album instead of single pictures.
Cheers

Now it is time to start working on this campaign: my project is the sd.kfz.251/7 pioneer assault bridges, Sturmbruck.

During next weekend the workshop will open and start working seriously (hope so...)

Looks like I will be missing the deadline. I don't have much to finish, but am doubtful that I will receive a replacement part from Meng. Expect to see it finished by March.

Hi Sal, thanks for your answer. I found your 251/7 in the gallery. Nice camo. I'll keep for reference.

Hi gents,
The workshop started the job and worked night time all over the last weekend.
We are seriously committed to meet the deadline of this campaign!
This is the 251/7 Ausf C sturmbrucke (1:35 from AFV) just started:

I should say that the situation is completely different from the Tamiya sister: much more details and a lot of pieces more.
The kit looks more accurate and detailed.
After almost six hours splitted in two nights, I've assembled all the lower hull:
Where Tamiya provide one piece lower hull, here I assembled already almost 20 pieces
Next: the road wheels...
Cheers

Lap & Giovanni: I hope you can meet the deadline.
I, unfortunately have not received a replacement part from Meng. I have another kit that will work. However, I can't get the replacement tracks by the deadline. Anybody want a built D9R?

Thanks Matt, I'll keep the schedule and finish the job in time !
Very bad that you didn't received the parts from Meng
@ Lap: I know that kit from Italeri: very detailed with many pieces. We must work hard
Cheers

This was a busy weekend AND I lwas reminded that an unstabilised lens is NOT a good choice for snapshots at 50+mm focal length.
Still added few more shots of the M88 to the galerie (Base coat and painted). Tomorrow I will do the "final" shot and start working on the diograma.
That will involve a suspended Wolf, a BMW3 and the M88

The final picture (from the campaign gallery). I'll try to finish the diorama till campaign end but that is not guaranteed

mmeier,
I hope you can finish the diorama because it a great concept idea. The M88A1G looks good. I like the camo scheme
I enlisted then, unenlisted last week because it's already December. Then I reenlisted in this campaign with hopes of a quick build Churhill AVRE Bridgelayer in 1/76 scale.

this will be my first Matchbox kit build

Howdy Y'all
I was able to get a little work done on the Komatsu bulldozer. Tried to do a little modulation but it is very faint.

I'll try to keep working on this during the weekend.
Take care,

Ordered a few figures and started building the base for the diorama and gathered pictures of cars being lifted. Dio might make it by the end of the month unless the job interfers.

I just requested and extra month and a half, as I count only three builds being finished. It looks like all of us can meet the new deadline.
