@sal it's latex paint+drywall compound , not plastic putty ( the modeling store that I went to didn't have any putty)

@ sal you could hide those tracks under the sideskirts or if the kit came with spare tracks for on the side maybe splice one of those in there.

well ... i walked into the model store planing to get some paints, plasticard, and glue. But i ended up getting all the above and this kit. The kit seems well detailed with a full interior. I will be fixing most of the missing parts and the kit was also a good deal $44.99
this kit probably won't be finished by the end of the campaign.

@Paul; Its a shame the problems with your tracks.....
@Tommy: I will follow you. I have one in the stash..... but this time I prefer to make the Tamiya kit, its more easy...

Well, I think I'm going to call this one officially finished.
I've uploaded two of the above to my gallery here on armorama, is that all I need to do or is there a step I'm forgetting? In any case, lots of fine work here and I'll be checking back in to see how it's all coming along. Happy building!

Hi all,
A quick question for the esteemed Campaign leader and members,
would a caricature style build be accepted ?, just don't wish to offend anyone that has spent large amounts of time etc.
Anywho this is the style I'm referring too

Thats a cute little Tiger, it would be cool to see one.
I added a coat of paint to the TIger I and here's some progress on the Sturmtiger. Most of the outer assemblies are dry fit but its close to receiving pant too.

Would it be worth it to scratch a transmission for it, because most of it will be covered by the upper glacis ?

Howdy Y'all
I primed my Tigers today using Vallejo acrylic primers. The gray Tiger was primed with "Panzer Grey" which looks more like Tamiya's "NATO Black" to me. It will work for modulation painting.
The desert Tiger was primed with a mixture of "German Green Brown" and "Panzer Grey".

i was on vacation last week so i had plenty of time to finish up the exterior of both kits. There is still some weathering that needs to be done on the Tiger I.
1/35th Tiger I & Stumtiger by Tommy Styrvoky, on Flickr
the partially complete interiors
they lack weathering and are unfinished, the paint also needs to be touched up.
