I also recommend getting a metal gun barrel.. I hate those 2 half plastic tubes..

Thanks Marc! I am pretty happy with how it turned out, I was pretty nervous doing it as I have never airbrushed camo before.

Very nice Colin.

AS for myself, i have the decals on, and some pin washes.
I will post up photos after Satin clear is applied.
Hopefully tomorrow.

My third time trying to post this.
Satin finish applied today.
I had a problem initially with the Vallejo satin. It just needed to be thinned.
Dry brushing and tools next.

I only put the right side muffler on. I need to add a smaller tool on the left side. I want to do it without closing up the access.
here is my first attempt at the AK worn effects.

Yes Colin. AK worn effects fluid.
I bought it in 2012 i think, and finally tried it out.
I have a question thread in the paint forum where i received some good advice in its use.

Dry brushing done. Tools and most accessories installed.
Streaky wash applied.
I want to dust up the tires. Looking at modelling references for that.

Well, i am calling my Puma complete.
I added the final etch details and anteneas. I at first used a dry pigment for dusting (upper section), but it didn't show to well, so i sprayed a light coat of AK Interactive dust effects. I sprayed the lower hull and drivetrain with a mixture of pigments and water, and gave a coat of some vallejo pigments where the tires would spray it up.
Unfortunately, my pictures cannot really show the weathering on the lower hull. I can never get consistently good pictures in my cave. I continually experiment with direct lighting and my light box for the pictures.
Speaking of pictures,,

I am working on a crew figure at the moment. As i am not a figure painter, i do not know if i will be posting him in the gallery.
I still have plenty o time

Hi there all, some mighty fine builds going down here, and nice to see some finished projects already.

Well done Colin, a beautiful Porsche Tiger Ausf.B .

Marc a lovely SdKfz 234/2 Puma you have created there also

I'm glad that I can start my project tonight, as the other two builds I have are now drying off. Here is what I intend to build:
It's to be a Leopard 1 series 2:

Leopard 1 series 2

Leopard 1 series 2.

Here are the parts Italeri Leopard 1A5 and the PSM Leopard 1A2 turret:

22.02.14 002

Opening the box to start:

22.02.14 001

I am not sure if I'm going to use the kit tracks yet, and I need a nice 105mm barrel from RB too.

I'll get some progress pics up soon...

Excellent models shown here. Presenting to you a few photos of my Tiger II. Just waiting to start detailing and dry brushing it. I hand painted the green camo. Was not going to go through masking.

Hello to everyone here. My wife was kind enough to buy me this kit for my birthday, so I figured I'd join up.

I've read through the thread and there's a lot of quality work already here, looking forward to seeing some more finished builds.
