Phil,
That one. There are some good pictures in the WWP T-72 book, pages 199-201.
http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/books/wwp/wwppvl14.htm
It is one of the best books, if not the best book on the T-72.
The muzzle reference system is another thing that you may want to include. There is a good build of one in this link.

Good luck!

Hi Guys;
I have been following your Builds very closely, and have been observing with great interest and enjoying every post.
Phil; If I mite ask a Question. Are you still following your original plans on your build, or have you changed your T-72. The reason that I am asking is that on most of the T-72s that the Syrians have left in there inventory, do not have a lot of the more up-dated features, ie; Cross Wind sensor or the Muzzle reference system. I am just curios as I wanted too make sure that I did not miss anything. CHEERS; MIKE.

Hi Mike, from the get go I had to get the turms-t on there since the client asked it. He also wanted a fresh on the field look for the finish...He wants it, he get's it Beside that I am trying to have a somewhat plausible t-72av built so I am open to any input really. I am not sure if I am going to get more high tech stuff on there. If you have a suggestion: fire away I am all ears

wow, that's coming along so well. i want one like it very much, but i'm too lazy to blaze the trail forward as you have - i'll just wait for trumpeter to bless us with one, ready to go right out of the box, a development that can't be too far off, or so i tell myself. in the meantime, i'll be following your project with interest and admiration.

Hey Paul! How are you?
Thanks mate. I have the preshade and first base coat on.
Roy, Thank you sir! Much apreciated It's always fun to share the knowledge with you guys....I've learned all I know from You all
J.P. Thanks a lot, Looking back at this long build I would not buy a ready made kit, I've learned a lot during the process. That said, I would not do it again I hear you when you talk about trumpy treating us with the long waited ''up to date'' t-72 kit! That would be very awesome
Here is where I am at now: preshade is done and base coat is on! Next step higlights.

Hi Phil,
I have not made much progress, and I don't think that I be able to do so anytime soon. I am thinking that trumpeter will release the T-72AV before I will finish it.
How time consuming are the Voyager ERA? They look really nice.
Raul

Hi Raul
Those t-72s are tricky beast to build!
The PE era blocks are somewhat time consuming but not as much as I tought they would be. They are definitly worth the time.

Ive got two filters on, one yellow and one brown. I got one or two place to clean a small amount of yellow hue that is too thick but otherwise it is good to be sealed and sprayed with dilluted buff to simulate dust.
