Hi Michael, you have done an incredible job on the Famo. It has been a pleasure watching your build unfold. It makes me want to start my own kit. I look forward to your next build as this one is fantastic.....Dale

Thanks Dale and Tim.
Good news your heading to Brisbane, the Hobby Expo has a lot to offer.
Will be at the show both days and it would be good to catch up.

Here are the some more images of work to bring me closer to the finish line.
You can never have enough reference on the subject. I had to rummage through the reference books to try and locate the black and white image to show what has been done.
The spring retention is not too exact but it's close enough to give the viewer the idea. Not sure if it springs down or up.
The nuts and bolts book Vol 12 Schwerer Zugkraftwagon does not cover this as they photographed a restored vehicle and the rear doors are missing.
The Tamiya Famo has the molded brackets on the bottom of the doors and to this date I have not seen it replicated in 35th scale.

Great modelling - top notch; just the motivation I need to restart the Famo I've had on the go for the last 3/4 years! (Is it just me who seems to be never able to complete a model.....?!) Lol

Hey Darren,
Thanks for your words. Apologies for the late reply.
I was deep down trying to get it finished for the show in Brisbane and very happy to say it made it.
Now it rests in the display cabinet with the M26.
Eventually when I get some spare time a build review will be made up for Armorama with a lot more better close up images of the finished result.
