I never got to see that arrangement in my time there, and am planning on doing one from 2007. In fact, I may do a small vignette with an SF guy walking up with his camera saying "Hey fellas, mind if I photograph your track?"

I got mine today in the mail. WOW!! Is all I can say.

It looks awesome. Full of details and the interior looks very complete. I can't wait to get started on it.

Gotta finish a couple other kits first.

Looks real good!

Its a bit of a shame thought that they have produced it so up to date and in such a way that limits one from building it in an earlier configuration. Hopefully they'll produce an earlier version, but yes as Rob pointed out as well, the interior needs tweaking for OIF 1 config.

P.S. Wish i'd finished my scratch built interior that I started back in 06:

Actually, this lower row can be left off as the parts for the loop-steps are in the kit. You will just have the rear lower panel missing, which is common to keep dirt from fouling the rear idler wheel. The mounting flange with bolt holes is molded onto the kit part.

As stated by Rob, it can be backdated pretty easily using some Tamiya or Academy rear stowage boxes and side skirts if you don't want the mounting bars for the ERA showing. The interior only really needs the seats backdated with bench-style seats (asRob's pic has) or individual seats form a Tamiya or Academy interior as well.

For those of you who have missed it, I have the rear stowage boxes available. I also have the older interior sets still in the shrink wrap. You're really going to need these for earlier (and I mean as late as 2008 or even later) I have pre-positioned these for my wife to be able to send to anyone who contacts me with their needs.

There is only only 2 loop-steps in the kit (14 are needed), I 'am going to make resin copy to complete my kit.
On an another way the Voyager model PE update set can be usefull.
I have compared the Tamyia M2A2 ODS with Meng's M2A3, the upper hull comes with same dimensions (lower side skirts are identical).

Thx Andre.I the blog,this is really M2/M3 A3 with BUSK3. BRASS (Bradley Armor Side Skirt) are not included in the BUSK (due to my limited informations) but the protection over the turret is in:

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't count them, just saw a couple on the sprues. Great info on the Tamiya and Meng dimensions though. Good news.

That driver's area turned out real nice, especially with those decals.. I see Robert's pics were put to good use

Are you doing the wiring and plumbing based on a plan, or just some "gizmology" like, I think, Shep Paine used to call it? It all looks great so far

The engine compartment looks really good.. could you please share the colors you used for the engine and transmission parts?
