Hey, Henri-Pierre.. thanks, those pics are great and show great detail.. I also got Rob's pics to reference.. but my problem is finding a good match to buy.. I think maybe because I but online, so I never get to see the actual color in front of me.. just the patch they show on whatever site I buy from.. and many times that patch is different than the actual color.. which, I believe, has to do with the colors on the PC monitor.. This has happened to me in the past, and sometimes I end up ordering several paint bottles until I finally get a good match That's why I keep bothering people with questions about what colors they used

Thanks, HP for these pics, I don't have them !
On an another side, Rob's file are coming with goodengine pics.
For the color, I use black from various shades (NATO, and Life color blackset) the transfer case is flat aluminium from Tamiya. after AK weathering products achieve the final look

Still looking good, Pascal.

Hisham,
I'll finally be able to send those engine photos later today.
I like to use acrylics when possible, and to my untrained eye, aluminum will be the color of choice for the transmission. The bolted on lifting lugs on either side have a slight anodized look. I like to mix a little gold to the aluminum to achieve that effect.
I've seen the oil filters in either black or white.
I'm going to remove the inner panel in the driver's compartment to show the engine (my kit is at home waiting for me) There are some parts which will look good by wrapping with aluminum foil with the dull side out.

Hi Pascal,
Do you dilute the Tamiya texture paint with something and then brush it on? I have some and it is a very thick paste.
Great build!

Pascal, I used Rust-Oleum over a Merkava IIID and I loved it. Super-easy to use and the final appearance is very homogeneous.
Congratulation about your Bradley and did you like tower's interior? and Radios and other stuffs, do you think this kit need any after-marked datail-sets?

Hey, they fixed one of the problems before it came out! They went back and added the ejector port above the barrel.

TEST SHOT:

First kit to have this ejector port!

Very nice. Good st see they updated it w/the shell ejection port as well.

Any pics of the turret interior? One part they got wrong is the radios and they need to be change out. The kit parts are the older A/N VRC-46 (12-series) radios that are no longer used. A good replacement is Pro Arts ASIP SINCGARS radios.

I use embossing powder for my anti slip coating and it works really great. It gives you a real good scale effect.

I dont take pics from the turret interior . I've put all parts, paint them, put the screen decal and closed the 2 parts from turret. All interior details are no more visible when finished.

I just picked up mine from the P.O. today - wow! 1: BIG box. 2: This better be kit of the year somewhere. Thar's a lot of pieces in that box! Good job on the build, so tempted to start it...

Yea Gino, if you look at the sprue shots that Jim posted with the un-boxing video, the VRC-46 is still in the kit. No biggy, easy fix.

Hi marcos, I did't find it in Brazil. My sister brought for me from US. I recommend it, this product is perfect to reproduce the anti-slip layer over afvs.
