The crew is waiting for completion...
It looks you didn't painted the tracks ? right ?
Hi, Giovanni,
I used the Academy's original tracks, with added the copper wires to make their curved shape.
Materials until that time: Black Mr.Surfacer 1500 -> Dark Iron XF-84 -> Flat Clear Mr.Aqua H30.
I will take the MIG pigments, AKA track wash, MIG Dark mud... over them next weekend. Maybe they'll be different.
Cheers,
K.

Giovanni, I love that camo.
Had to set aside my 251 to allow the primer to dry, which means I've fanally got a chance to get started on my flak build. I figured as the guy who instigated this thing it was just too much of a cop out to settle for simply doing the Flak 43, so I'm going with the original quad mobelwagen. Decided to skip the PE set since I inadvertantly grabbed the PE set for the wrong kit. Still planning to add Fruils and turned barrels.

Hi Mark, agree with you !
I made almost the same: decided not to simply doing the FLAK 38 just to be campaign-approved, but also to support it with a nice Demag D7.
Actually, 70% of the job on the car and 30% on the gun
Turned barrels are good in your case. In my case, I'm happy with my modest single plastic barrel...

Hello all,
I've been planning to try my hands on scratchbuilding for a while. As a first step I've been tinkering with the Revell 1/72 PnzIV ausf H and the Hasegawa Flak 88 to build a Panzer IV Ausf.H with Flak 88.
(The Flak should be a 37, but I did not find a 1/72 version of the gun.)

To be honest, if I found it before I'd have built a JgPz 747-88(r) instead...
Since it's 1/72 I've been making quite a good headway. I'll post photos as soon as I uploaded them from my HDD at home.

I realized recently I addressed my compliment on Mr K's camo to Giovanni--my apologies to you both. I'm easily confused....

Hi everybody,
Going on. The turret, the guns and the figures.
The OOB figures are ugly in detail. Maybe they're moulded in the past century. Whow, ancient Academy!
Waiting the good day to assemble together.
Sincerely,
K.
Yes, they are similar to the Tamiya Flak crew, same with winter double-face uniforms. Moulded in the past century.
Anyway, you made a good job with camo

Nice job on those old Tamiya figures. Pure nostalgia and yet a great results.
Looking forward to see it altogether.

Well, I am calling this one finished. I added pin washes and chipping, with a little mig pigments for dust.
Cheers.

Looks nice, Chris!
I've managed get some assembly done on my Möbelwagen, but focus is still on trying to wrap up another campaign that finishes 1 Dec. You're making me look bad, of course...

Hey AA friends,
I have been abroad for a couple weeks but came back with renewed motivation for downing aircraft. I finished my UM 1/48 GAZ-AAA. I built some balsa wood crates (turned out to be a lot of fun) and made a big tarp out of a dried out baby wipe. I've enjoyed watching everyone's projects and am happy to have finished my first campaign build.
