I have heard about some gliders and planes from masterbox as future releases. Now we have one from Bronco and i think this one will hit like a bomb. There are many Modellers waiting for such a release. Not my theater of Interest but great for all others . Thanks a lot Bronco.

Wish they'd also do the 1/35th C-47 talked about by Masterbox a few years back!

Just seeing the box art fills me with pleasure. When MB originally announced their intentions to build the kit I thought "Who'd have thought it - amazing." That was followed by a long wait and then disappointment that they had withdrawn from the project.
Then Bronco started to release their Airborne Stuff and hopes rose again. If it is anything like the quality of their other kits it will be a real gem. Diorama possibilities abound and even if I wasn't going to build the kit I buy one just to drool over it
Hats off to Bronco for a really bold step, either as a full or part kit options for D Day, Arnhem or the Rhine Crossing have just got a lot more interesting.
Happy days indeed.

Note that in 1/35 scale, the wingspan is about 2.5 feet long. Plan out your shelf arrangments in advance!

Knocking down a wall as we speak!
Rob Van Meel's British Airborne Jeeps 1942 - 1945 has copies of the lashing and loading arrangements within the Horsa as well as great info on the jeeps, crew positions etc.

The entire Bronco release list is so impressive...unlike Dragon!

I was a staunch supporter of Dragon, but it's like they don't care anymore.

Well my gob is well and truly smacked.
I thought the sheer size of the thing made any chance of a release unlikely but there you go.

Hi Bill,
Who knows a Waco might well be a possibility and would really please the US Airborne guys.

I think it's a winner, given all the ink about the 70th D-Day.

Bill, you took the words right out of my mouth: Wonderful news. I hope it sells well and we get a Waco, too.

If you will picture the scene from Home Alone when he realizes he's home alone . Now picture how many modelers are running around waving their arms and screaming at this news. Bronco is certainly not resting on their laurels, like some company's.

CANNOT BELIEVE THIS NEWS! What a fantastic offering by one of the better -- in my humble opinion -- new wave injection moulded manufacturers out there. Best of all is Bronco's reliability of delivering within the time estimates they announce. Unlike so many others who announce, reannounce, state a release date, restate the release date and then cancel the release entirely, Bronco does what they say!
Thanks, Bronco. This is going to be a great one!

Joy to the world, the Horsa has come! Oh how I've wanted this kit in plastic in 1/35th. Can you imagine how many Pegasus Bridge dioramas are going to sprout up now that this is available? Doing my Snoopy Happy Dance

I agree about the Pegasus Bridge given the recent release of the Bridge in 1/35 scale, the Horsa will make that dio a distinct possibility. We definitely have modelers on here who have the skill set to do it justice. About the only stumbling blocks would be space and cost. It's gonna be a good fall!!!

An impressive build, which certainly can not be 'smuggled' into my hobby room unnoticed. ( I was until now able to tell my beloved one that the model box, she caught me with, was coming from the ceiling to be assembled!)
But it will create more challenges for us, model addicts:
1. Where do you put a approx. 60 x 70 cm glider safely and dust free?

2. How can we convince Santa to invest a large part of his budget in this thing? Any advice welcome!
Anyway, Darren, Thanks for expanding our stash (soon???!!!) with a model, caused by your decent review.
