Peter, I have been watching as your TOW missile related sets come out. I have the Humvee Turret and ammo rack. I am getting ready to build them up for a review here in Armorama. The detail really is amazing. It would be great if you could offer the launch tube as a separate piece that is empty. All of the announced sets have a missile in it. It would add greatly to the versatility of the sets of they could be posed without a missile in the tube. Maybe you could offer the tube on Shapeways. Another thing that would be great would be a set of TOW missile wooden shipping crates. I'd like to be able to load up a HMMWV, or trailer with a few. Keep up the good work. I look forward to getting the MRAP TOW turret to use with the new Panda Maxxpro.

Eric

Peter, thank you so much for adding those so quickly. I will have to buy a set right away. This is what I love about this community here on Armorama. Everyone is willing to help in any way they can. Some have mad computer skills and some are incredible sources of knowledge.

Hi. Did somebody have degradation of Frosted Detail parts after storage as in the topic in the Shapeways forum?
https://www.shapeways.com/forum/t/powder-appearing-on-fud-after-storage.68722/
How did you solve this problem? I really need a help.

Max, the powder appears after the wax and resin cure completely. In some cases careful brushing with a toothbrush will knock most of it off. The parts should be very thoroughly cleaned as well. Even after cleaning many parts will still turn white when they fully cure after some weeks. You can speed this curing up by placing your parts in the sun. Make sure they don't get hot or they will warp.

Thank you for advices. I ordered Shapeways' 3D printing several times. I washed the frosted detail parts and put them on the sunlight for the final polymerization in accordance with the recommendations. However in two cases crystals appeared on the parts after storage and eat up the relief. The company is ready to reprint the parts, but I would like to know about the solution of the problem. Because in the third case a fine crystalline powder was formed on the assembled and painted model like in photos from this Shapeways' forum topic https://www.shapeways.com/forum/t/powder-appearing-on-fud-after-storage.68722/page-7

Peter, the M1151 fire extinguishers arrived today. At first glance they look amazing. I will try to get them cleaned and primed soon so I can post a few pictures. Thank you so much. I also got my MRAP TOW Turret and the tripod mounted version. I am doing reviews for the site.

Peter, I ran across something that I thought would make for an interesting figure for your line with Legend. I read that members of a certain SEAL team are given a tomahawk at the end of their first year. You could do a figure throwing one.

Yeah, I’ve read this, too; I just don’t believe throwing tools / weapons is really that effective compared to using it as designed. I’d be keen to see a regular ol’ SeAL running forward, crouched, as a team member lays down some solid suppressive fire.
I did see the release of the third SeAL in 1/16 and Santa told me there will be one under the tree for me next month. Happy days

Sounds good, Peter!
I'd vouch for a SEAL sniper with a pose like this:
...perhaps for 1/16 SEAL#5 or SEAL#6.
Have you thought of making a 1/16 Cold Weather SOF figure such as this one? The clothing and colors will definitely be different than the typical desert pixels uniform and Multicam camo.

Hello Peter S, great work on the Mk 20 SSR, thank you for that. The figure looks great, too.
I’m with Peter O on the cold weather figure, too. Variety is good, but I’d take almost anything you do.

The turret looks cool, would it be possible that you could do the Soft turret cover folded up? That would look really nice.. Is the weapon included in the turret?

Peter and Legends...
I would be interested in a modern 1/24 to 1/16 Delta Force figure to break up the line of Legends's SEALs and their military uniforms. Having sweatshirt, caps, beards, flannel shirt, Tomahawk, different carbine, etc. would be a nice change. The key is that they would have no backpack or any extra gear to weigh them down for fast "in and out" Direct Action.
Here are some Delta Force images from Google...

Peter, on the second photo, this man is definitely not actual Green beret. It is probably a hunter, and a tomahawk is used to cut the animal trophy. The red shirt is for hunting, not for war. And as far as I know, in a combat situation, the use of a helmet and body armor is a must for all military units and contractors. Otherwise, in case of injury, there will be no insurance payments.
For a tomahawk - it is also a tool like a entrenching tool (shovel). For example, in the army, teached to combat skills using a E-tool shovel. But our instructor always told us: "Guys do not forget, before the soldier starts a battle using a shovel as a weapon, two things must happen:
1 He will lose all his weapons and ammunition on the battlefield
2 He will find the second such idiot among the enemy"
However, separate sets of tomahawks can be used for various figures of "survivors"
Hakan, probably, later I will add to Shapeways thefolded up version of the sun rain cover.
In the set of the MCTAGS turret, the kit includes two versions of M2 - standard and tuned with Surefure light mount and scope mount, also two assembly options for the shield - standard and with an extended armor skirt for MRAP placement.

Also, M240 sets can be used to replace M2 turrets.

Thanks Peter for the info about mctags turret, hope you will do the folded up sun cover too then on shapeways.. If you do it there, will it just be the sun cover then for the legend kit as otherwise it get so expensive on shapeways...
