Hi Ken,
This is certainly nice of you to leave a comment, and I appreciate it. I hope I did your truck justice in this build!
You seem to have done one heck of job in getting two built in real life - building what has become a legendary vehicle.
Thank you for leaving your comments,
With highest regards,
Nick

Hi Nick
Thank you so much for the "big picture(s)" - greatly appreciated. I think everybody can now fully appreciate the amount of work, detail, and dedication this took.
I'm going to download your images and will most likely spend hours just looking and appreciating the skill and effort.
You must enter this in some competitions. It certainly deserves to get seen!
Regards,
Kobus

Hi Kobus, thanks for the nice words and for following along as this came together! I hope the pictures are of use to you - and, that they might be useful if you get going on a build - if you do, I sure hope you post it!!
Cheers

Nick,
I've just run into your work and find it beyond what I think of when I start a project. You have me thinking at a whole new level if model building. How you get all this fine work done and so fast. I'll never know.
I see you have so many resources for details I can only imagine what you spend a month on model parts and supplies.
Anyway, I've been wanting to respond with all I've been reading this weekend until I ran into this post. Coffee, beer, coffee and how you need to limit coffee and cut beer out to get detail painting. I LOVE IT!
I follow your work and love what you do. A very inspiration to me for what I want to do.

Hi Jerry...yes...about "that" - - I debated adding/not adding parts, painting assembly order etc - eventually I concluded it was going to be a headache whether I built and painted in modules or all at once.....I'm sure it will be.
Notes to self for painting the inside of the cab:
1) Velcro optivisor to head
2) Turn on bright lights
3) Limit coffee intake
4) Prohibit beer intake
5) Keep limiting coffee intake
6) Keep painting
7) Repeat until done.
The good times are ahead!
Nick
