Dan,
Same thing happens to me: Squadron sales, ebay, HobbyLobby sales, and swap meets. Good luck on your M-41!
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Due to house moving etc., I got a little behind with my Builds and due to poor packing, some of my builds have been separated from their parts.
Thus my offering for this campaign has changed and will now be the P-51B from MisterCraft.
This kit is a fantastic challenge. Some parts are warped, most are too thick and there are fitment issues all round. Loving the Challenge of bringing the kit to completion.

You're braver than me Eric.
Looks good martin! No trouble with the scheme?
Back from vacation so it's time to build!
This is almost a one day kit. I think I'm spending more time sanding than assembling.
Of course some parts...
Require a lot of sanding.
Also gap filling.

I had no trouble with - it's a free hand painting of this one

Cristian, I know this might seem a tad silly.. seeing as how this is only a 150 piece campaign.. haha, but is there anyway you'd do an extension? Mine is damn near complete, but I just found out that I have to go to work in New Mexico for this entire month. While I am taking a few kits to hopefully work on, I won't be able to do any type of painting.

I have no problem with that, Dustin. Would two additional weeks suffice?

I won't be back home until the 5th of July. So if at all possible, like the middle of the month?
I'm not looking for any special treatment, so I understand if we can't do it.

A little more progress. I primed my armored car and realized I forgot to glue on the headlamp. Oh well, I've got it on now. Next step, spray with Tamiya TS-2 per the instructions. I'll hopefully spray some BO-4 over that for a "modulation" effect. I'll try to do this tomorrow, letting the primer dry out today.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Dustin,
If you are going to be in Albuquerque June 16-17 the Albuquerque Scale Modelers are hosing an IPMS Regional-Chile Con IV, "May the Fourth Be with You."

Great progress, Don! It must have been a really small vehicle judging by the scale of the figure.

When I entered this campaign, I thought it would be a breeze. But all my time been caught up in the 750+ campaign, so I have to regretfully withdraw. The upside; I expect to actually complete the 750+ campaign, and the hope that I might, possibly think twice before I join the inevitable 1000+, 1250+, and 1500+ campaigns.

Johhar, it's the small kits that get you. I had to hurry up cause I'm unexpectedly traveling to the UK for two weeks on business.
She's done! Not the prettiest model but I like it. Practiced some air brushing techniques on her.

Sorry to hear you are withdrawing, Johhar! We still have 6 weeks to go in case you change your mind.
Congrats on the finished build, Dan!

Dan, I've built that M41 a couple of times. It's a fun kit and your build looks spot on.

Thanks! It's very much a back to basics build. As much as I wanted to switch out the poorly done 50 cal, and those thick headlight guards....I resisted.

I'm making some progress, hoping to finish this up tomorrow and take it to the ChileCon IV IPMS Regional. I would've done some oil wash and pigment but I'm working in New Mexico next week.
I still need to gloss coat the turrent and apply the decals. I skipped out on doing a Korean War version.
@Christian-yes, it was a small vehicle. Basically an armored car on a jeep chassis w/a two man crew.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"
