Howdy Y'all
Don't forget to post your photos in the Campaign Gallery, I just got mine in.
We're nearing the finish line but you still have time to finish. Thank you Gaz for another fine campaign.
What's next? You always have great ideas for campaigns.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"
Hey Don,
Thank you very much. It was my pleasure. Some people have previously mentioned interest in Operation Husky. Though, it might be easier to encapsulate the entire Italian Front from 43' to 45'.

Bogicevic...
Wow!!! That is just fantastic! I love that the vehicle is filthy but the MG is spotless! The canvas doors are a nice touch.
Congratulation on a speedy , complete build!

Howdy Y'all
Gaz-Operation Husky-that'll send us all doing some research for the appropriate models. Great idea. So is a wide-open Italian campaign.
Bogicevic-You've got a great model there. I expect the canvas doors to blow in the wind if I watch long enough-they look so real. Great weathering job.
Take care,

Only five (5) days to go, my friends!
Gaz
What is the official end date and time? Your end will come before mine, I think, due to time zones and such. I would prefer to end on 11:59PM EDT June 21, 2018, in the U.S. myself, obviously. It is 3:29AM on Sunday the 17th, and I am starting to paint. I think I can do this.

Shell,
We'll go with the latest time zone for the end-date. I don't expect the world to conform to my time zone.
Good luck!

Happy Fathers Day!
I am sorry to say that I will not be able to finish my build in time. I would like to thank Gaz for hosting as well as congratulate everyone who finished.
I have completed the build stage of my kit and am beginning to prime the sub assemblies.
Looking forward to your future campaigns Gaz.
My vote is for an Italian front campaign!

Bogi, what yellow color did you use for your half track? Tamiya or something else? Looks great

I hope to finish today and upload my photos on Monday.
Gary - Great scene, that background really adds a nice touch.
Chris - Nice looking Valentine. They have live one at the Tank Farm at Nokesville, VA. Surprisingly small tank. If you are in range, I highly recommend their open house this September 22nd and 23rd.
Kelly - Awesome looking camo!
Bogicevic - Stunning bit of model making there, plenty of things to praise, but damn those canvas covers look cool!
Bryan - Definitely post some pics when you are finished!
I would happily join the Italian campaign, plenty of options, might even try my hand at a plane.

Remembered the deadline just in time (and got my new shed finished just in time too):
The caunter paint job went on fine, although the decals have come out shiny - I should have added a semi gloss coat on top before dulling down again with the dust. No other weathering since I know I won’t have time before he campaign ends.

Brayan, I use Revell Aqua. I mix Africa brown 36117, Sandy yellow 36116, White 36105 and floor polish as thinner. I don't know exact ratio but let's say it's 50:30:20.

This was another fun campaign - congratulations to all of you! Unfortunately my build will not be finished but I'll post the pictures here when ready (in weeks, I hope).
cheers,

Gaz: I'm really liking your second entry. Nice damage.
Bogicevic: Great work. Nicely beat up.
Richard: Good job. What colors did you use?
Nathan: Looks Sweet!!
I feel like I'm in a total slug-fest, inching toward the finish. Just did not have a good time getting paint on this thing, but I press on. Next will be washes, then hopefully an inordinate amount of chipping. The deadline is the midnight, the 21st, local time, right?
Happy Modeling,
Zon
