I imagined it to be three times that size! Such a lot of seriously in depth detail packed into a pretty modest sized base...really impressive!
Hope those rubber tires on the PaK40 are still holding out?

Thanks buddy,
The tires are mighty fine still. Reports of their demise have been greatly exaggerated.

Excellent, Jerry! Thanks for posting this.
I reckon any larger the Pak40 would be a bit lost, smaller it would be too cramped, this is just about perfect.
Cheers
Sean

Absolutely fantastic Jerry! I've not been on here for ages with one thing and another so had missed the final stages but it truly is a work of art. With the narrative it all comes together beautifully and shows the level of research that you put in before you even picked up a kit. It certainly paid off as each figure becomes a historical person rather than just a brilliantly painted figure. I think this has to be one of my favourites that you've built in that you can identify with each personality in the historical action. I take my hat off to you yet again! Top work!

I was throwing out some stuff again to make room and was presented with one of the reminders of my very poor memory.
You may remember me posting about this electric/telephone wire bracket I needed info on and then scratchbuilding.
What I found at the bottom of a box today.
Hmmmm. Oh well.

Hello there
Just thought I'd give this a bump as it's the 75th anniversary of the events portrayed, and to hopefully inspire Jerry to post more photos of his current "Odon" work
Cheers

Thank you Sean for the bump because I never did follow this beauty thru to its completion. DOH! My bad
Well I've just gone back thru the pgs and Jerry this is perfect in all its aspects: idea, research, craftsmanship, and presentation!
Great as usual for the rest of us, Bravo!
When you get on a roll, we win!
Cheers
Regards Dave

Thanks Dave!
Better late than never. I was also reminded how much time and effort I spent on this. It did have its' rewards though because it looks like I have a book deal for a graphic novel!
More to follow.
