I am starting work on Dragon's ME262A-1/U4

Hi all,
I will change the skin of M270 by following the JGSDF camo.

JGSDF used the tracks as M113's (one rubber pad per link, not for Bundeswehr), so I took AFV workable tracks. It's good.

Well the Dragon Shilka is coming along nicely now.

I have completed the paint chipping effects and have added the decals that i bought from Echelon Decals. it's case now of adding a dark wash over the kit and then weathering it.

my biggest problem right now is the replacement tracks which i have ordered but still haven't arrived yet, hopefully they get here soon.

Here is my finished Elefant with Atak zimm and Friul tracks. No marking on it as yet because I haven't decided where I'll put it.

Love your Elephant,it has always been one of my favorite AFV. I would mark it with a division in Italy as that is where a lot of them went to after conversion.

I am calling this one done. I had this grandiose plan to add a ton of stowage etc but honestly when the time came to do it I couldn't be bothered. Heck, it took me almost 2 months just to summon the enthusiasm to paint the commander.

Anywho, without further ado. My Dragon Sherman VC Firefly done in the colours and insignia of the South African 6th AArmoured Division in Italy.

So I painted everything gray

then sand

Then some chipping and here am I now.

Going to try this Kubelwagen, the part count is reasonable.

Thank you Kalin. I like that look too, that's why I go for this kind of finish, although not everybody will agree with it.

Having some fit issues to sort out with the Dragon Bf109 kit, so am going to bust this one out by the deadline:

Thanks Darius, just be careful when buying one, there is a box with flak shield and a box without it.

BogiBG, this is 6711 kit you have built (the one with ammunition trailer)? I see that 6739 has the shield, but it has no racks for the ramps at the front As my LHS happens to have 6711 kit for 32Eur, i think i will give it a go, its fair price, and i can afford to get PE shields if i must After all, you cant have too much haltracks (especially with flak's).

I agree with you. Go for it, it's really good price.
