I thought Kasserine was in North Africa. Husky to the Gothic Line?
Take care,

I'm kinda leaning toward Italian Front 1943-1945 ... for simplicity's sake. Should make making a ribbon easier, too.

Italian flag with 1943-1945 written over it? Maybe shorten the "text" to 43-45?

The Kasserine pass is indeed in North Africa.
The thinking was that operation Husky sort of picked up where the fighting in North Africa left off. The idea for a name was also a wink at the Crusader to Gazala campaign.
Gazzas suggestion Italy 1943-1945 describes the intention of the campaign a lot better.

Already signed up for the MTO Campaign which overlaps this but I think I can come up with something to build so I'm in.

Glutton for punishment! I was thinking Tamiya on this one... But I do have a Dragon Brummbar, too.

Dear Gaz,
That's another great campaign idea! I'm in with a Bronco Chaffee (march-april, Italy, 81st Recon Squadron, 1st Armored Division).
Cheers,
Zsolt

You know I am in. Though I wish you had announced this about 3 weeks ago before I started not 1 but 2 Italian Theater Shermans which I have gotten to the paint stage!
I do have other kits in my stash which I can make work though

Robin,
I like how you're thinking. Maybe someday someone could do a Mareth Line to Husky campaign. I'd love to do a Tiger in Tunisia.
Take care,

Guys,
I should have checked first. I think the Mods might have a problem with overlapping the MTO Campaign.
Anybody got a problem with waiting until December?

No problem with me, I would be a late starter with another I have subscribed to, so December works well for me.

Hi Everyone,
As we have plenty of interest, I've submitted the proposal for Italian Campaign 1943-1945 to run from December 1 2018 through June 1 2019.

I'm in the MOT Campaign with a Tunisian "Tiger", but I probably can come up with something. I've got the Dragon Commonwealth Infantry figure set so I'll probably do something along with them...maybe Free Pole Forces....though I'll be honest, I don't think I've seen Italian Campaign Free Poles forces in tropical kit.
Come to think of it, I have Dragon's 10th Mountain Division figure set too. It's a nice set but it has limited use. I might save it for a what-if Ice Station Zebra type build.
Decisions, decisions...I'll figure something out.
