Very Nice Viktor. If I had that, my wife would steal it for her tweezers, nail clippers, etc....

I cut out the doors at the back with a saw from CMK. Then it was the turn of the drive. Then 40 chain links. Today the chain continues.

A busy road ahead Viktor. The tracks are tedious to put together, but look good when finished.

Just a quick update:

Some small ejector marks in visible places like control surfaces, but otherwise good fit, thin wings and nice level of detail.

Now that is a Livery you don't normally see on a Seahawk. Really looking forward to seeing this one finished Lap Man.

Nice choice, LapMan. Looking forward to see more.

Some good progress on my Jaguar Rocket tank destroyer. Next is some additional weathering. So far a very enjoyable build.

Looks fantastic Jesper.

I half expected you to do the grape pattern camo you have a penchant for (Sorry, couldn't resist... it is futile!)

Looking nice, Martin. Are the tires hard plastic or rubber? I find rubber very difficult to clean up.

Thanks for the comments, guys. The raketen jagdpanzer is almost done. I just decided to add a rolled up camo netting on the front. Hope I do not spoil everything this late in the process. 🙂

More to follow 🙂

Ha ha, not on this one But soon I will start painting a 1946 waffentrager for another campaign. That will have a mishmash of camos illustrating it is made up of sub assemblies from various factories/workshops. There might be some dot camo or pixel camo in there 😉

What do you think of the Mig Primer Martin? I normally use Tamiya's primer but that is liquid gold in Australia at the moment. Covid is hampering import of commodities. The LHS has Mr Surfacer but also some of the MIg primer, so I am curious as to how good it is.

The net will add more interest Jesper. Which brand is that one?

Hi petbat,
In the picture you can see the primers that I am using ( mostly the grey one) and I am happy with. Now learning to use the black one too. Using the proper MIG thinner for it. Around 3:1 for the primer to thinner ratio.
I hope that is helpful.

I think it is a Chinese brand. Had it for some time. It is made from some sort of plastic material which makes it very durable and easy to “rub” to the flaked look. However, since it does not soak up any glue it is difficult to keep in place. It can be done, but is time consuming.

Okay Everyone, countdown is on. 1 month to end, so get cracking.

I am undertaking the final detail painting and weathering of the PZH 2000, so final pics soon.

I am calling this one done. Revell did a simple, yet well detailed kit of this relatively rare Bundeswehr tank hunter. Tried some different weathering techniques and some new AK-interactive mud. Overall very satisfied with the end result.

Looking forward to see more entries for this campaign

Thanks for joining in.
