Marcos, John, fantastic work on your Leos!
John, this is your 2nd Leo in a short time! You're fast!
I'm not nearly that quick. While my greek Leopard is proceeding well, the M 110 also comes close to some painting in the next days. Have finished the hull ....

A lot of work and a bit of blood and sweat, but the Leo looks fantastic John. Well worth the effort put in it.
Smooth build so far Torsten.
On the home stretch now Marcos. Love the camo choice, it really makes this one pop.

I was going to join with this
but I see we already have one, and with a lot more effort being put in than I'd be willing to. I built it anyway, just because it's a good looking tank
Things being what they are I'm in with

Welcome Richard. No rule that says you can't build the same vehicle as someone else, or that you need to do anything other build out of the box. But I hear you, it is nice to add to the variety of builds.
Nice work on the MG Turret and figures Marcos. What do you think of the figure kit?

I liked it. For a plastic kit the detail is pretty good. I only had to change one set of arms so they would work with this tank.

The voyager PE set really helps to add a lot of detail to this kit.
As soon as I have a chance so place the figures in their place I will take some final pictures.

OK so here is the latest little bit on my "Little Bit"!!
First Saturday I have had in a few weeks where I was able to get some paint work done. Unlike y'all with your fancy "man-caves" I just have my kitchen table and the front porch!
Can't complain though, nice little 'hood with nice neighbors.
So anyhoo......Here is where she currently sits. I still have to install/paint the mirrors (was scared I would break them), and have some detail cleaning/paint work to do, including a few small bits of stowage via Value gear, but it is looking nice I dare-say!

Nice job so far Bruce Did you use silly putty to mask? I have used it in the past but find that it leaves an oily residue that affects paint adhesion. I am liking the little fellow!

Ok so not on youse-guys skill level, but this has been a fun kit so far! Just a bit more touchup here and there, then some light weathering and a small base, and sh'ell be GTG!

Nice Bruce. Neat little vehicle. Are those cross decals out of register or is it just the light? It looks like the black is printed to one side.

John: Congratulations to Your Leo. It looks really stunning!
Torsten: Looking forward to see some color on Your kit! Looks good.
Bruce: Nice Weasel. I have to find a model in 1/72 scale.
Marcos: Fantastic progress on Your Leo. I like the fading effects very much.
I read Your advices on the masking putty and gave it a try on my Luchs.
I put it on in a more or less rough manner, but pulled in shape with a tooth pick. Although I used only little putty, there has been overspray due to yielding masks. Some small brush repair will do here. But, it is better than cutting out masks.

Very Nicely done Oliver. Really looks the piece.
I think I'll stick to Blu-tac, it doesn't move. If you put it on, spray, then remove as soon as the paint is dry enough it avoids the residue some people talk about.

The figures look pretty good and you have turned them out nicely.
I need to get back to the SPH, but I have to finish 2 other builds first.... one my 20/20 build...

Nice choice Martin. Something very different. Good luck with the 1/72nd scale etch - I don't envy you on that....

Okay, as stated earlier - main build nearly done, just working on the MG ammo box before fitting it, finish the camo net and paint the orange on the indicator lights for the front before masking them and adding to the hull. Then ready for a bath, primer and paint.
I have added stretched sprue weld seams to the front and rear of the hull, although not clearly visible in the pics.
I removed all the moulded on grab handles and replaced them with wire. Same for tie downs replaced with Aber items. Door handles were undercut as I did not like the thick moulded to hull look.
Added the cables to the sensor on the gun mount and chains from the spares box to the smoke dischargers. Also used steel cable in place of the thread for the tow cable, although it is barely seen with the gun pointed forward.
Straps for camo net are etch fret sections and wire loops.
One figure needed the elbow cut and bent to better suit this vehicle, just need to fill and shape the area to represent the more compressed fabric, then I can start painting them too.
