Sorry I haven't been around much...finals and work . Okay its nearing that time. I am grateful as ever that so many decided to participate. I want to specially thank Treadhead, Animal, and MrRoo for getting this idea rolling and allowing me to take it on.

So here is the deal. Just as in the last campaign, I will use the responses from here as the main basis to assign ribbons to participants. However, to save time on your side of the fence, if you have already posted on the first survey linked below, don't worry about reposting your images here. If you have yet to post on this or the other one and you have a model that you would like to enter for this campaign please do so here. I ask that only finished models be posted here; don't forget to include an image of the real thing.

If you are not finished, don't fret just yet (...rhyme ) as you have a few days left.

If you have ANY questions, comments, or anything that needs to come to my attention please don't hesitate to send me a PM; I am pretty lenient about granting personal extensions.

Again thanks for your participation. It has been a lot of fun and I am amazed at the diversity of the entries turned in yet

First Wheels: Move It Again Survey:

Anyway, here is my entry for the campaign.

HI Jeff

here is my entry to Wheels2 :

Plus Model 1/48 M 998 Hummer

I used Verlinden Warmachines no. 7 as a rough guide for my car, err truck .... which should be a s generic as possible for future use with an a/c or a diorama. Here is one of the pix from WM 7

And here are the pictures. It is my first modern vehicle..so please be forgiving ...

The combat area is assumed as desert (Desert Storm or Desert Shield) thus I used MIGs Gulf War sand as my main wheathering matter (also some Europe Dust and a little African Earth for the cargo bed). The model was quite tough to build because of some areas that just won't fit (as the doors) but that could also be my fault. The detail of the kit is quite good.

best wishes

Steffen

Great to see the replies. I've been watching the thread but haven't had the time to reply and for that I apologize. I plan to update everything this weekend as well as start sending out PMs to those who I am not aware of what is going on. So start looking for it Monday since we have the day off from work and since I'll probably still be deaf from the race (Indy 500 ) doing something that doesn't require hearing sounds pleasant (EDIT: haha playon words)

, thanks to finals I won't be able to touch them
in at least a week.
By now the ZIS is almost build up, both of them waiting for paint

Well I just hope there will be Wheels 3 next year
