Dave,
Re: Antibiotics, I am not a Doctor, but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night. Well, not really, I was up until 1 am drinking gin and tonics, which makes me really smart. Just ask my wife.
Heal up,
Shaun

When I saw the thread yesterday ... Grumpys OOC, I thought it was Grumpys out of control .... nothing new there then! :-)
Looks like its Grumpys cat who is OOC and Grumpy himself was just OOC.
Sorry for your troubles, Old fella! Hope the swelling goes down and you can make the most of the sickleave!

Thanks guys, my biggest concern is internal bleeding, after going through that surgery on my leg, I hope it's just an infection, that will clear up with the meds.

Hi Dave,
Sorry to hear about the injury, hope you have a speedy recovery. Dump the cat, they can be mean and selfish little creatures, and get yourself a nice lazy dog!!
Get well soon.
Al

Did the cat follow your hand into the shredder?
Get well soon Dave.
Sean
PS: can modellers insure their hands like models can insure their legs?

Well.....yeah it's a little OT but,the only time I've heard Lloyd's of London NOT insure anything was the virginity of some rich guy's beautiful daughter.(too high of a risk......) :-)8

Grumpy...I never venture into this forum so I never read about your news, sorry to hear about what has happened.
As your models were some of the first I looked at when I was getting back into modelling, I sincerely hope your road to recovery is a shortcut, and you lift tools again soon mate. Best wishes.
All the best
Jon

I'm happy to report, my doctor visit today was good news, appears no permanent damage done, and I can go back to work on Monday. Still a little tender, and swollen, but I can at least make a somewhat fist, and hopefully can doing a little modeling again tomorrow. One ligament seems a little tight, he suggested slowing trying to stretch it to get the flexibility back. I can surely say I'm looking forward to doing a little modeling tomorrow for sure, "that's for dang sure.... " He also suggested I buy one of the squeeze ball stress relief thingy's to exercise the fingers. :-) :-) (I use to have one when I was going through my divorce but wore it out years ago, I don't even know if they make them any more) :-)

Hi Dave,
Glad to hear you're on the mend. So the cat's going to be your secret weapon for unwelcome visitors - very sneeky :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
You get attached to them even if they can be a bit mean.
Just watch out for the little bugger in the future.
Cheers
Al
