WOW! That really looks great. What a fantastic idea, and I like the fact that they are painted.

These are just as cool as the U.S. set. I really like all of the arm and cuff bands. Looking forward to more and I hope they will produce some sets for some of the other countries as well. Some British and Russian stuff would be nice.

Sean, if using these is cheating...........then so is using kits. After all, if you don't accept help, then one should use a block of plastic, or better yet....wood, and carve anything you want out of that, shouldn't you? :-)

Just heard that Eduard have another 3 sets of these for next month. No pictures yet, but we'll bring you them as soon as we have them, and the 3 new sets are:

Hey Vinnie-thanks for the heads up- I am glad to see these. I'll be getting a box full :-)
It is a pleasant surprise to see Eduard taking this technology of painted PE to the genre of armor modelling.
They have been doing painted seat straps and cockpit control panels in regards to aircraft modelling for a few years now .

Nice review Vinnie, same for the U.S. set! One quick question, is the brass thin enough so that it could be made to conform to the folds in the clothing on the figures? If so I'll be picking up some of these, and probably will even go for a set if it doesn't, thanks.

Mike, yep. It's extremely thin stuff but strong since it's metal. You should have no trouble making it conform to any surface whatsoever.

It's great stuff, Mike. In addition to folds, you can depict chevrons that are half ripped off, unbuttoned or crumpled epaulettes, etc. Hopefully there'll be some accessory sets coming out in the future too (for example, the Lion Roar set has a wristwatch and a pocket watch). But PE is definitely something to go for if you really want your figs to get attention.
