The T-28's outer sets of track were designed to be disconnected and towed behind the beast.
Not only was it big, heavy and slow, it was too wide for any road it might have travelled on.
Geez, at 95 tons, it makes the Jagdtiger look like a runt.
Could you imagine the cranes they would have needed to load this hulk onto a ship?

Eh...... we have a crane out in the Shop that'd pick up 2 with capacity to spare................ She'll pick up 240 tons.....................

I also drive for a living and would choose the M26. It would be the perfect oil patch truck. 6wd, winches, could hook to just about any trailer.

I'll take a M60A3. Simple but effective and a lot of fun to drive.

Well, my favorite amored vehicle is the Panther F, but if I had a crew like this it would be the Stuart then!

I'm with you Jeff, the Hooters crew and anything makes sense to me...

Hello Chaps and Chapettes,
I think my ride would have to be the good old British Challenger mark II.The diesel engine for economy.the120 mm gun for traffic jams and a co-axial machine gun for road rage and Traffic Wardens.Altogether seventy tons of fun !!!.
(P.S. I`m a white van man by occupation,so i could certainly get my deliveries done on time in one of those !!!).

My choice would be the M1A2.

Speed: I drive in Atlanta. It's either NASCAR fast or dead slow. The M1 can handle speed and run over the parked cars of a traffic jam.

Armor: The Hummers would bounce off when they try to match the M1. Or soccer moms in minivans.

Anti-Theft: 120mm smoothbore. Go ahead, make Clint's day!

Parking: Any damn place I want to.

Slow idiots with cell phones stuck to their ears: See Anti-Theft.

Roomy storage baskets for luggage, kids love the Play Station gunners position and the wife loves the no turn signals option.

Yup, that's the ride for me.
