I'm also in. I was itching to build something from my 20+ stash of military trucks. I love to buy them but do not have time to build them.
Let me prepare my mechanics for the assembly.

I just joined as well. Quick question, is The Heller VAB 4X4 ok for this build?

I was just going to ask if motorcycles count... They do carry around people and have wheels
If so, could build one as well as a truck...

Hey all,
Just came over from another part of this great site. I'm an old army engr guy and I was wondering if some one could point me in the right direction for a U.S. Army 5-ton dump truck. We used these as our squad vehicle and I thought it would be a great build since I had some good memories from that time.

Great campaign.
As a VAB and a BTR-70 have already been approved for this campaign I guess it will be alright to enter with a BTR-80.
Thanks for leading the campaign, Jeff

Well, Rob, at least with the Stryker kit, it builds well right out of the box. We wont be converting them into dumvees and scratch building turret armor and full rear bumpers and what not. any of this sound familiar?? LOL I am getting one of those AFV club Strykers myself. I have the Trumpeter one, but I think the tires and weapons station is better on the AFV kit. well, cyas later!

Hehe, who is to say that you can't build the Stryker, set it next to one of your amazing humvees, and in 30 seconds time, convince yourself to build yet another humvee. I'm still trying to my fourth!

Frank, you might check out Hasegawa's 1/72 scale dump truck. Not sure if it is what you are looking for, but it is the only dump truck I know of. Kit #31122, GMC CCKW-353 Dump Truck., Looking at the box art, it might be a little old. Hope this helps, "Q"

I'm in. After trying to help Frank with his search for a dump truck and seeing that mine was ready and waiting, I'll probably dive into this cool looking little kit, along with some else as well. Thanks for leading this one Jeff. "Q"

Its really no problem doing this. I remember taking over the first one of these for Cliff Hutchins (aka MrRoo) a couple years ago and how much I loved it. It is my pleasure to have this campaign, and I hope that this campaign continues to grow.
As for my model, I'd love to try AFV's Stryker, but I may settle for Trumpeter's for now. But like I said, I have to finish my humvee. I've postponed too many projects. Now if I can just get through the rest of finals week.......

I don't know what I'll do yet, but it will be softskin, and with at least 4 tires.
And I'm not going to run out and buy anything new, so everything will be from the stash.
