Much as the Land Rover variants from Hobby Boss have been welcome (and needed), it's an inescapable fact, that the company who has done the most impressive work with the vehicle are Accurate Armour. Now, for the first time, the company has launched a series of Update/Conversion Sets for the LandRover from HB.
Now, before I list the four new releases, it's worth pointing out that all of Accurate Armour's extensive series of models of the LandRover were done with FULL cooperation from the vehicle's manufacturer.

The first price listed is Export, the second for within the UE.

There are some really positive aspects to these sets... Firstly, if you don't have a mass of reference on the many (modern) variants (beyond WMIK, I get confused ), so it's nice and simple buying a specific pack for a specific variant. Secondly, and I consider this vital, the relationship that AA have with the manufacturers - other model manufacturers should REALLY start thinking about this... Frankly, it's an absolute pleasure posting News Reports like these when a manufacturer has clearly done their homework...

Great Updates but I've already Legend Productions items. Someone on an another modeler site said that the weapon mount is a bit tall on the Hobbyboss kit. Perhaps it's right because Accurate Armour includes the weapon mount in all his conversions. What do you think about it ?

Leave it to the folks at AA to do things right! I also jumped the gun and got a couple of the Legend sets--wish I had waited since the AA sets are much more complete. They appear- and are-a chunk of change but when you add up the cost of an update set plus a set of wheels, not much difference between their sets and the sets of others. Would like to see AA do something similar with the Srs III, like radio sets for the rear of FFR vehicles, do a commanders Carawagon (I think that is what it is called), do a 109" V-8. A Milan system for the WMIK would be nice too, as well as radios for the rear of a FFR Wolf. The list never ends, does it?! Anyway, thanks AA!!

In Legend Production conversion there isn't any armor panel for the floor of the vehicle. And in Blackdog conversion, ther isn't any floor armor panel too and wheels are wrong because the old type of tires are mounted on recently rims.

These are really very very nice looking. I think the E-WMIK is going to be a must to place alongside my Panther CLV.
