Master Box has released two more figure sets to extract money from our pockets and this time it is two sets that feature Soviet Marines.
To me this looks to be one of the triple series of figures that Master Box is well known for and they have revisited the Eastern front. The first of these figures is Soviet Marines and German Infantry featuring two German infantry and three Soviet Marines engaged hand to hand combat, the second set also features five figures but this time it is only Soviet Marines in the mix in an all out charge. With these figures announced you can expect a set of five more German to join the fray sometime soon.
35152 - Soviet Marines and German Infantry, Hand-to-hand fight, 1941-1942.
35153 - Soviet Marines, Attack, 1941-1942

Here we go! Finally. You don't see enough Soviet figures out there. I wish other manufacturers would make their figures as animated as Master Box, because these guys are great. And those Germans aren't even standing and pointing! I'm excited. -Conor

Well done Masterbox! You have already become my favorite figure supplier. One real nice thing about these sets is the inter active abilities. Another aspect is that when you are doing a diorama, the matching of human size is more accurate, not like mixing one company with another. This set would match up with the other Russian/German hand to hand combat for the display of the battle of Leningrad. Maybe Masterbox would consider a set or two of fighting Russian civilians. This is a real nice crisp looking set and I know already that I'll need a set or two.

Excellent job! Poses are convincing and very unique. Some more of these hand-to-hand fighting figures and one can think of a bigger dio covering this theme.

What!??? Nobody pointing? How will I know where the action is supposed to be going on? How will I know where the chow line is? How will I know where the latrine is? There has GOT to be a pointing guy somewhere!

There is someone pointing - with a broomhandle Mauser pistol -the first in this scale, if I am correct. Art

These will be really great for a Russian Marines counterattack during a 'Battle for Sevestapol' diorama. I hope MB release further sets of compatable Russian Marines to expand this scenario. Are there any other manufacturers who make useable Russian Marines?
