Lion Marc Model Designs has released a couple of new turned aluminium barrels onto the market with the one that will raise the biggest cheer I suspect being for MENG AMX-30B.
I have already seen threads with members asking about turned metal barrels for Meng’s AMX-30B, well it would seem Lion Marc Model Designs heard that plea and produced one. The barrel appears to be a single piece offering with some nice detail such as rifling.

LM10047 - 1/35 75mm Pak 42 L/70 Barrel (for Jagdpanzer IV L/70(V) - $7.50
LM10048 - 105 mm Modèle F1 Gun barrel for Meng AMX-30B - $14.00

The AMX30 barrel looks nice and Lion Marc has represented the drain holes under the thermal sleeve. Now we just need to see it in flesh to assess its accuracy dimension wise. From what I could compare with the pictures of the real one I have, it seems the distances between the holes is slightly too large but it will be hard to notice when in place. The gun rifling is really nice. This should be a nice addition to the Meng offering. Thanks for the info Darren.
