3 Figure Sets, 3 Different Wars

News in from Master Box has three new figure sets covering three different wars coming soon.

Master Box has three new interesting figures sets on the way. Of the three sets, each set covers a different war, with one showing POW’s in World War 1, another with German tankmen in World War 2, and the last showing a scene that could be anywhere in the present Middle East. Each set looks to very useful for creating an era diorama.

35158 – British and German Soldiers, Somme Battle 1916
35160 – German Tankmen, WWII Era
35163 – Somewhere in the Middle East, Present Day

Hi, Ingo! Not to start an argument, but have you counted how many German WWII soldiers and tankers out-number US/Allied figures on the market today..? I think you may be surprised that 1/35 WWII German figures and figure sets out-number US/Allied subjects by a factor of about 20:1... It's not just a case of "German Sells"- Maybe if the manufacturers would produce more WWII US/Allied soldiers and tankers, they would see that their customer base would buy these in possibly the same profitable numbers as their German subjects...

At this point in time I'd favour some more WW1 troops, some British tankers to go with the new Mk IVs, some generic WW1 types for dioramas, there are excellent subject references to choose from and with more WW1 kits becoming available currently there are very limited figures available. The MB WW1 set is the most significant set for me as they are the only other plastic injection company apart from ICM who have some troops, although Tamiya have listed some fighting Brits due for release with the Mk IV. The FT might produce some WW1 Americans as they used this vehicle - a lot of scope for the future in this genre. Al
