Well, growing up close to the polar circle anywhere in France is south of Europe to me

Operation Dragoon, 1st Airborne Task Force US 509th PIB US 517th PRCT US 550th GIB US 551st PIB British 2nd Independent Para Brigade Plus, the 509th PIB and 504th PIR fought during both the Salerno and Anzio operations (the 509th was almost lost on the drop into Avellino above Salerno). The Germans depolyed both the 1st and 2nd Fallschirmjäger Divisions in Italy under XI Flieger Corps. Jon

They should have done the first set with 1970s/80s Soldiers and set it somewhere in germany.

The rear wheel skirt nets are still fairly common in some places. They're generally made of an elastic material that stretches over the rear fender and has washers that are placed under the rear wheel nuts on either side. I've seen them in bright blues and pinks although a dour black would probably be apropos for Mrs. Mueller. she doesn't look like the type that's wearing Victoria's Secret under that dress...
