The latest announcement from Hobby Boss covers their Schneider CA 1 Armored in 1/35th scale. The Schneider CA 1 is considered the first Tank in French service and whilst a failure in design it is still an important piece of armour and saw service in WW1.
This Hobby Boss release of the Schneider CA 1 is something a little different. A look through the images supplied by Hobby Boss indicates this will have individual track links that I believe will be workable. The photo etched parts are minimal, but the inclusion of a photo etched medallion will be of use to the modeller who mounts their models or places them on dioramas.

HB 83862 - Schneider CA Armored.

Nasty-looking piece of business, and I'm really glad to see more WW1 vehicles.

That's awesome. Now someone needs to release a metal barrel with the rifling in it (I saw the MR Modelbau detail set, but I already have the blast set and didn't want to buy a whole other stowage set just for the barrels)

the tracks are buildable, just not easy

Gotta love that shape! It also seems to have a refreshingly low part count...

When you say not easy do you mean they don't stay together very well?

Im very hesitant to buy a hobby craft OR Bronco model due to the poor tracks . I don't want a difficult build ! I want to relax !

This is HobbyBoss not Hobbycraft. Cheers, Christophe

If you do them careful they stay together, I put mine together without the pads then put the pads on.. but i do have a high tolerance for annoying track builds (im building several sets of bronco 6-piece per link track sets now)
