1⁄35

A constant (and frequently correct) criticism of many 1/35th scale figure releases, is the 'static' nature of the poses. Now, the Ukrainian manufacturer, Masterbox Ltd. have announced three new, 1/35th scale, styrene figure sets which aim to provide a little more 'movement' into the available figures...
The three sets are clearly aimed at producing more 'in-action' poses than we have become accustomed to. These type of poses have been particularly demanded by the diorama builders who are always looking for an alternative to the (IMO) overdone 'Troops Resting' scenarios.
Only a first glimpse of the increasingly excellent Masterbox boxart is available at the moment. The three new sets have been announced for release in April 2007 although I am hoping to get a look at them next month at the Nuremberg Trade Show:
MAS 3522 - WWII German Infantry in Action, 1941-1942 Eastern Front Series ~ (4 figure set)
MAS 3523 - WWII Soviet Infantry in Action, 1941-1942 Eastern Front Series ~ (4 figure set)
MAS 3524 - WWII Hand to Hand Combat, 1941-1942 Eastern Front Series ~ (4 Figure Set)
