RoyalModel has a new full resin kit, the Freccia Infantry Fighting Vehicle. An 8x8 wheeled vehicle in use by the Italian Army.
The Freccia is a derivative of the Centauro tank destroyer, with a Hitfist turret. The vehicle is built by Iveco while the turret is from Oto Melara. It is armed with an Oerlikon KBA 25mm automatic cannon plus two 7.62 machine guns.
It is currently in service only with the Italian Army, and has been tested in combat in Afghanistan.
The kit has more than 150 resin parts and three extensive photo etch sheets.
