Previously available in 1/35 scale, Hobby Boss now offers a version in braille scale.
The Merkava Mk III variant is regarded as the most numerous in service with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). Compared to its predecessor, it features upgrades to the drivetrain, powertrain, armament, and electronic systems. It mounts a 120mm gun and powered by a larger diesel engine rated at 1,200hp. Its turret moves independent of the chassis thus allowing it to track a target regardless of the tank's movement. LIC stands for "Low intensity conflict", underlining its emphasis on counter-insurgency, street-to-street inner-city asymmetrical type warfare of the 21st century.
Hobby Boss’ IDF Merkava Mk IIID (LIC) contains more than 50 parts over 3 sprues. It features a quick-build wheel and track assembly, as well as a decal sheet with options for marking. As built it is 125.6mm (L) by 55mm (W).
