??? What difference would that make? The short hull M3 and M4 series used the same number of track blocks and could use the same track types. KL

I agree avenue, the Academy M3 Lee is a great kit. Don't know if'n I'm gonna sell the one in my stash cause Takom has a newer kit. There'd have to be some major improvements for me to "upgrade" to the more expensive offering.

But I find it tedious and too much like work for what is supposed to be a fun pastime. I like link and length the most. But that's my preference based on my experience. I broke real track and set tension and did hours of maintenance on the real thing. I don't like being reminded of that when model building.

Even if you get the runs right using indi tracks, the end connectors are almost impossible to get aligned correctly, so that they are perfectly strait and even. Tasca makes an excellent track in my opinion.
