Tasca have released images of their new release item 35-010 1/35 M4A1 Sherman
(Mid Production)
(Mid Production)
Once upon a time Allied modelers would cry out at every new release "when are we going to get something Allied" Now we are spoiled for choice with long dreamt of Armoured cars and Halftracks filling up our stashes.
This Mid Production M4A1 in 1/35 scale will be welcomed by all Allied modelers as it was used extensively by both Commonwealth and American forces as well as the Free French (I'm not sure if the Poles used it - anyone know?)
If Tasca's schedule proceeds as planned then on October 19th the M4A1 will be shipped out to oversea distributors and available for sales to overseas individual customers through Tasca's online shop.
Please note the photographs show the prototype model and not the final product.
Some extra parts are needed, and parts shown may need to be further processed or modified.
Also note the clear plastic and PE are not yet attached.
Edit 30 Sep 07 I have added photos from Tasca of a built up M4A1 as well as some detail shots and the PE set.
Tasca are taking pre orders for the M4A1 on their website and are offering a free gift of one of the following for every M4A1 ordered before October 16th.
35-004 1/35 WW2 German Star Antenna Set
35-L7 1/35 German Vehicle Light Set
35-L8 1/35 Browning M2 Machine Gun Set A w/tripod
35-L9 1/35 Browning M2 Machine Gun Set B w/cradle
