Challenger MK.VIII Book from Skp

Skp have announced a new book on the subject of the Challenger MK.VIII (A30).

Some weeks ago Jim Rae spotted the announcement of a new “Great secret surprise INJECTED MOULDED KIT OF BRITISH AFV FROM WW II coming soon”

Well that announcement is still there but the latest release from Skp may be a hint of what that kit might be.

The 36 page book comes with Czech and English text and contains detailed walkaround photos, contemporary photos, scale drawings, drawings from the technical manuals and color profiles
Year of Issue: 2007

The publicationdate will be Dec. 14, 2007

Hey Pat, Yeah, I was wondering about that "suprise kit" that SKP had mentioned on their website. Since they've done a book on the Humber Scout Car having done the HSC kit and a slew of followup detail sets, it makes sense that their "suprise" might be a an A30 Challenger kit to go along with the book. I have the old Accurate Armour Challenger but I'm not a big fan of the white metal wheels and fittings. A new plastic kit would be most welcome and sure to be a hit with the fans of Brit armour Cheers jjumbo
