Two releases, from MasterBox Ltd. which we featured as 'WIPs' are now getting close to release.
The two new releases, as I mentioned in the introduction, have been in the pipeline for a while now. However, the company's U.S. importer, DragonUSA, is now listing them for release in April.

Previously, diorama and figure modelers have been short on a very basic item (apart from models available in resin) of a 'generic' European farmer's cart - in plastic. With these new releases, come two different variations - the first, simply the cart itself. The second, is another of MasterBox's excellent 'Vignettes-in-a-box' featuring the cart, some civilian figures and two German Infantry walking along beside it. The cart, will be for anyone modeling late-war German dioramas will be extremely useful in its own right. Although we have an image of the German Army as an all-powerful, mechanized force, the reality was somewhat different as they relied heavily on horse-drawn transport during the whole course of the war.

The two releases are:

3537 - "Farmers Cart", Europe, WWII Era

and:

3538 - "Somewhere in Europe..", 1944

Hello Jim An interesting piece which will undoubtedly find its way into several dioramas. I look forward to your review for an accurate and complete assessment of the kit. John

I'll get the set with the figures so as to have the horses although I really don't need the German Soldiers. I suppose I can convert them to prisoners .
