MILITÄRFAHRZEUG 4-2020

Sturmpanzer A7V
First of the Panzers
Reprint with corrections and 22 new photographs
Limited Edition: 999 copies

The size of the German tank force in World War One remained extremely small. Only twenty A7V tanks were ever built and saw action in the Great War. Nevertheless they were the landmark of German 'Panzer' development in the 20th Century.
The story and technical details of the A7V's development and combat are subject to intensive research for the past forty years. This publication aims at telling the story of the A7V based on today's improved knowledge. It also highlights the tank from a different perspective, including individual data sheets with records for each A7V ever built, the war-time use in the three Abteilungen and the variants in Freikorps service.

REFORGER 77 Carbon Edge
Forward Defence at the Iron Curtain
Limited Edition 999 copies

REFORGER 77 Carbon Edge was conducted as a free-running corps-level FTX. It involved 51,800 troops with 4,000 tracked vehicles, 7,500 wheeled vehicles, 500 helicopters and 90 combat aircraft. The aim of Carbon Edge was to test the capability of NATO to slow down, intercept and stop a major conventional attack of the Warsaw Pact in order to gain enough time to assemble sufficient forces for a counteroffensive and, by so doing, regain the initiative on the battlefield.
This publication uses impressive and large-format action photos to illustrate the offensives and counteroffensives of the exercise. A special chapter is devoted to the famous "Tank Grave at Pless".

LEGUAN
The Leopard-2-based Armoured Bridge-Laying System
Limited Edition: 999 copies

In July 2018, the first Leguan armoured bridge-laying system was handed over to the Bundeswehr Engineer Corps. The ordered systems are being delivered between 2018 and 2021, enabling the German Armed Forces to cross water and terrain obstacles even with heavy equipment bearing an MLC 80 rating. As the German Army has a total requirement of 31 Leguan bridgelayers, in the middle of 2020 additional 24 systems were ordered which should be fielded from 2023.
This publication describes, for the very first time and highly illustrated, this brand new high-tech weapon system of the German land forces.

Finnish LEOPARDs Vol. 2
Limited Edition: 999 copies

The modern Finnish Army is among the best equipped users of the German Leopard main battle tank and its variants. In addition to the already (Special 8005 - Vol. 1) portrayed Leopard 2A4 FIN main battle tank, Leopard 2L bridge-laying tank and Leopard 2R armoured engineer vehicle this publication now shows the four most recent additions to Finland's unique Leopard motor-pool: the Itpsv90 Leopard 2 self-propelled anti-aircraft gun, the Leopard 2A6 FIN main battle tank, the Leopard 2A4 FIN mineroller, and the Leopard 1 armoured recovery vehicle.
