The first volume of what will (hopefully) signify a new series from Concord Publications has just been announced
7069 - British Armour in North-West Europe - Volume 1. Normandy to Arnhem
Written by Dennis Oliver (whose work in this area should require little in the way of introduction) the book consists of 72 pages, 16 color plates & 165 photos. Rather than reprise the campaigns of summer/fall 1944, the book concentartes exclusively on the vehicles in theater - covering such subjects as the Stuart, Sexton, Cromwell, Sherman, Churchill, Universal Carrier, Staghound and Humber armored cars, halftracks, M10 and Priest.
For those who require it, it carries the ISBN 962-361-164-1
However, I admit to being a little confused over this book as to whether it's a replacement for the two (previous) books by David Fletcher which concentrated on British Armor in the same time-frame.
That point aside, as ANY books of images of British Armor ARE welcome, it deserves to sell well!
