Well, i have to say this is a bit out of left field and I am sure given the quality of the other Tasca Shermans will be very well received not that there is much to complain about in the late m4A3's from DML.. Given that Tasca have 98% of a Welded hull M4 I really thought they'd finish the radial engined variants before moving on to the A3 line. This opens up the possibility of late M4A2 and I hope late M4 variants also - not to mention the long awaited new tool M4A3E2 The Golden Age is truly upon us despite the doom sayers Al

No, the Jumbo is a unique variant of the A3 Sherman (E2) with additional heavy armour and a new well armoured Turret. They were all built with the m3 75mm gun but a lot had this replaced by the 76mm gun in Theatre (Early 45). Cheers Al

Their releases inspire a lot more confidence (at least to me). I'd also like Tasca to do an M4a2 (76) as frankly those which are available are requiring a considerable amount of both Tweaks and AM...

This is indeed great news regardless of our preferred pecking order of the M4 family releases. I have to declare my involvement in this project coming to light though. I have bought the DML premium kit of this and an armorscale barrel which was to be my next build, so of course they would undermine me Has an enlarged Drivers Hatch and a simple front armor plate common to the late type M4A3. Well thank the gods for that. At least this way we can still call it a wet stowage M4A3! Parts of the Drivers Hatch hinge are separate from the body, so as not to constrain the reproduction of the shape of the gradient. Anyone keen to have a guess at what this means? Brad
