AFV Club have sent a series of images of some of their imminent releases
AFV Club have a useful policy of releasing Update sets shortly after the release of the 'Basic´ kit. Normally, these comprise of replacement tracks, ammunition sets or even replacemnt barrels. Beginning with these, there are a couple. The first is from AFV Club, the other from HobbyFan
AF35189: German 40cm (workable) Steel Track Set suitable for late mark Pz IIIs or Mid-Production IVs, the set is also appropriate for the company's recently-released Nashorn.
HB066a - Swedish STRV104 Centurion Conversion Set
A conversion set which includes new side-skirts and a replacement engine deck to produce a Swedish Centurion.
Onto the FULL Kits:
AF35154 - Churchill IV Now, this was expected but extraordinarily welcome nevertheless. When the company released the Churchill III, they were setting the stage for a series of Churchill releases which with the basic hull could then begin to produce the variants which were so needed. The Mark IV (cast turret) will now give us the possibility of the NA75 (a simple conversion using an M4 mantlet and gun). Included in this New model, are additional tracklinks to add on the frequently seen extemporized armor which many crews added.
Finally, one which fell thru the cracks in July:
AF35178 - British Infantry Tank Mark III, Valentine I
As to the images, some additional views of AF35S61 - 4x2cm Flakvierling 38 (Limited Edition)
Our thanks, as always, to AFV Club for the updates!
