Tasca models have announced a 1/24th scale German Zundapp KS750 with sidecar which should be good company for their 1/24th scale Panzer II’s. This kit represents Tasca models third venture in to the 1/24th scale market and it should be a popular piece with the military modellers and possibly the 1/24th scale civilian car modellers.
The German Zundapp KS750 was possibly one of the best motorcycles built during World War II, and this offering from Tasca should live up to the real bike judging by the pictures of proto-type Tasca have made available. Of particular interest is the method used for constructing the tyres which is novel.

This is going to be an awesome kit! I have a feeling that I'll end up owning several of these and I'm thrilled that it comes from Tasca. Their products are always of the highest caliber and I'm sure that this one will be as well. I can't wait to order my first one! I wonder if it comes with a trailer? Hmmmmm......... I like 1/24 scale. A nice compromise between 1/35 and 1/16 for those to whom "size matters" . However, some decent 1/24 figures to go with these releases would be nice. They seem to be VERY few & far between. - Steve

A very nice kit, the wheels are impresive, I expect that 1/24 scale grow.

Considering the latest 1/24 Italeri kits, it seems that 1/24 scale could be a new trend
SEP 04, 2011 - 10:11 PM
I doubt if we're seeing any kind of trend here although 1/24th IS a very nice scale for subjects such as light softskins or lighter armor such as the Pz II . There's too much invested in 1/35th scale by the 'Majors' to release any more than the occasional well-thought out subject such as the Zundapp.

It'll get the ball and chain's attention as well. Is your couch comfortable?
